NOTE: If you are wanting to have a presentation for a series that you have in Coleader already, you will have to build the presentation in Sidekick. It will not automatically create a presentation from Coleader.

Introduction:
Create presentations easily in Sidekick Beta!

1. Create a New Presentation:
Your journey begins at the Dashboard:

  • From the Dashboard: Start by clicking "Create Presentation".

  • Naming It: Give your presentation a relevant title. This could reflect the theme, day, or the main idea.

  • Set it in Motion: Click "Create Presentation" to open up the main workspace.

2. Diving into Presentation Settings:
Adjust your presentation settings to fit your needs:

  • Accessing Settings: Right after you create your presentation, you'll land on the main overview page. One the top right corner, you'll see the "Presentation Settings".

  • Adjusting Basics: Here, you can edit the title, change the brief description, and decide how you want the slides to transition – whether swiftly or at a paced speed.

  • Visual Backgrounds: Choose from a variety of aesthetics. You can set video backgrounds using direct URLs, upload images to use as backgrounds, or even choose a solid color for a minimalist look.

3. Crafting the Presentation Flow:
Structure is key for a coherent presentation:

  • Starting Point: Every presentation automatically starts with a welcome section. You can retain it or customize as needed.

  • Adding Sections: To incorporate more content, simply click on the "+" sign that is above/below a section or use the "Add Section" option in the program flow to the left.

  • Add Content to Sections: For instance, if you decide to engage your audience with a game, name the section accordingly, drag and drop the game images, and Sidekick will create the slides for you.

4. Personalizing Each Section:
Each section can be a unique experience:

  • Accessing Settings: Click on the gear icon within the section bar to the right for a deep dive into customization.

  • Background Individuality: Despite a global theme, each section can be differentiated with its own color, image, or video background.

5. Embedding Rich Content:
Bring life to your slides:

  • Announcement Slides: If you have key messages, drag and drop them into the desired section.

  • Songs: To add a song using SongSelect, click on "Add Song" in the program flow on the left and search for the song. Sidekick will import the lyrics and you can customize as needed.

  • Teaching Slides: You can either import images of your teaching presentation or edit them using text boxes.

6. Detailing and Fine-Tuning:
Attention to detail can elevate your presentation:

  • Fonts: Play with font settings in each section – from colors to sizes and styles. Dive deeper into our specialized font video for mastery.

  • Video Integration: Whether it's Vimeo, YouTube, or any other platform, all you need is the link. Paste it, resize, and your video is ready for viewing.

  • Expanding Slides: Want more slides? The "+" sign is your friend. Within a slide, you can flexibly add text, images, or videos.

7. Final Steps & Presentation:
Before the grand reveal:

  • Zoom Functionality: If you like to see more slides on the overview page, you can zoom in and out on the bottom left to get a bird's eye view of your presentation.

  • Going Live: Confident with your creation? Click "Present" and you're ready to go.
